Well just look who has moved into the area by the pond

 

 

this a young Night Heron they are normally seen in areas of marshes or a large amount of ponds

so I am not sure why it is here..............

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It does not move far from our area during the day but will go further afield at dusk. We have plenty of Fish in our pond but the amount of frogs seems to have gone down. It has been around for a few days but has such good eye sight and hearing I have not until this afternoon been able to get near to it to get a reasonable image.

 

So you can see the difference between this and a normal Grey Heron here are a few shots taken with my new trail cam.

yes it is a Badger who I have only seen once when walking around the garden at night but knew was around on a regular basis stealing the ducks eggs and snuffling around for any other nice things...............
