Outside the back door


A rather battered Swallowtail taking nectar from one of the flowers just by the kitchen door

A butiful daisy in the garden with a small white dot near the centre



        The dot is this little chap only a matter of a few millimetres across



    Our bird of the day is the Swallow here with three males two older and one juvenile.

Syrah sees a Hare

Whilst down the lane Syrah saw a Hare and must have thought she was a greyhound like Pinot
and ran over to it and with the Hare just watching until she was around two feet away and then just left her like she was standing still then ran around the sunflowers tormenting her............







The Bird of the Day is a Housemartin feeding its chicks Ladybirds that are more plentiful than I have ever seem before.

Clicking, Flicking and Jumping

The picture above is of the last remaining magpie chick who unfortunately I am sorry to say went to sleep forever yesterday morning but his image will I am sure last forever.
So to other things in the garden, here are some images of the crickets and other insects in the meadow area.....................





It's eyes look like they are carved from wood with the grain running through.
