back to the lake again today to see how many swans were there - only five so I have added extra shots of two others to make the seven
Five Mute Swans
plus one swan upping and one beautiful black girl
This is a Mute Swan;the S-shape neck and the large bump at the base of the beak means it is male.
this is an obvious young lady by the nice slim beak.
These are the lovers - they are showing they are a couple with a pair bonding display, this is very important as swans mate for life,
this is the same pair with a couple of great white egrets landing behind them
